The Massa State Archive holds the Civil Registry files of the Garfagnana (1852-1865) and the Civil Registry files of the Lunigiana (1852-1865)

Army census

The Archive holds the Lunigiana parmense Recruitment Council (classes of 1828-1839), whose headquarters were in Pontremoli during the period in which Pontremoli belang to the Parma and Piacenza Duchy and the Anexed States. The Castelnuovo de Garfagnana Recruitment Council (classes of 1829-1839). The Recruitment Lists of the Massa Estense Principate (classes of 1829-1839) are held in a separate file, which has not yet been inventoried.
