Civil registry

The Lecce State Archive holds the Civil Registry files (1809-1941), which contain the birth, marriage, death and citizenship certificates (the last since 1866), issued by duplicate by the Civil Registry office of the cities of the Lecce province.

The Lecce and Taranto Military District files(classes of 1844-1925) and the Lecce Recruitment Office (classes of 1871-1942) hold the Recruitment Lists of the circumscription.
