For the Napoleonic Era the main source is the Napoleonic Civil Registry (1806-1815).
The institute holds the Civil Registry of the municipalities in the province of Como (1866 – 2000) and the Civil Registry of the municipalities in the province of Lecco (1866 – 2010).

The Como, Lecco and parts of Varese province Recruitment Officearchive holds the Recruitment Lists (classes of 1907-1939), extraction lists (classes of 1880-1906), and draft dodgers lists (classes between 1870 and 1890).

This institution holds the draft cards and the fascicles of the classes between 1843 and 1944.
